Medallia Experience ‘26

Medallia

Each year, we work on creating the audiovisual system for Medallia Experience, an annual event held in Las Vegas, where global leaders come together to explore the future of customer and employee experience. For this edition, the concept defined was Medallia’s Signal Machine: a visual construct that captures, processes, and amplifies signals, transforming them into meaningful action.

A 90/10
-Shaped Machine

The machine is driven by the 90/10 principle, which highlights how customer feedback represents only a small portion of the experience story, while the majority is revealed through behavioral and operational signals. This concept is explored when Medallia’s machine evolves. It begins with a sparse flow of signals — small, isolated particles moving through the system, representing direct customer feedback. As the system activates, more signals enter and multiple data streams begin to connect, expanding the flow and transforming the machine into a dynamic ecosystem.

Precision
Meets Play

The visual approach takes cues from Dieter Rams’s design principles, reinterpreted in a dark-mode style and combined with some playful elements that bring the system to life. A symbolic use of color runs throughout, with Medallia’s signature green emerging as a key accent, highlighting the moment when raw signals evolve into meaningful insights.
